About Mayflower Clinic
Mayflower Clinic was formed by a group of successful immigrants who made Wichita their home in response to the economic crisis of 2008-2009, where thousands of Wichitans lost their jobs and needed access to primary medical care. Our mission is to provide quality healthcare for everyone so they can continue to be productive members of the community and be healthy in all aspects * Physical and Mental .
Mayflower Clinic was established by a group of successful immigrant professionals from all over the world who choose Kansas as their home and wished to give back to the community, the impetus for this desire was the economic downturn of 2009, where thousands of workers were laid off work and found themselves without health insurance and needed medical care.
We are now in 11th year of our work with majority of our people carrying out day to day operation with volunteers and only handful of paid staff. On average we see approx. 750-1000 patients per year and we continue to do so. Obviously, this would not have been successful without the dedication of our volunteer staff who made sure every individual walking in is taken care of regardless of their background.
At Mayflower Clinic we are here continue to take care of the working uninsured. Our team provides comprehensive and compassionate healthcare. We honor individuality, have open and honest communication and strive to earn the loyalty of every person we serve.
The mission of Mayflower Clinic is simply to help our community members to become healthy (physically and Mentally) & enable our patients to continue to be the productive citizens. The rising healthcare cost is making it difficult for common folks who in the service industries for e.g the baristas, server, car mechanics, handyman, tradesman, self employed. These community members are the engines that drives our economy yet they fall through the cracks.
Providing excellence in medical care. Treating every patient as a valued individual, honoring their humanity. Team commitment to communication, diversity and respect.
